My art piece for Breaking Barriers and Creating Order: The Art of Mathematicians. Begins the series, Line By Nine. It portrays my own mathematics genealogy, through a sequence of relations by PhD thesis advisor. Here Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646-1716), the co-developer with Isaac Newton of calculus. Leibniz also made early contributions to matrix algebra and topology.
